Looking for Larry Nelson (but I think his full name was Philip Laurence (Lawrence) Gordon E'scales Nelson III).I lived in Estartit, Spain during 1965-1966.He was posted on the Rota base which is very close to Estartit. Looking for Marines who served with my husband, James Malicki, at the Marine Barracks Rota from February 18, 1964, through February 23, 1966. Jim died at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville on July 6, 2007, following a year of tremendous suffering from the disease Amyloidosis and its complications. Amyloidosis is a presumptive service related disease due to exposure from pesticides and herbicides. Is there a possibility that Agent Orange was either used on that base or stored in a warehouse for shipment to Vietnam during that time. Any information regarding this would be sincerely appreciated.
